Conforms to the Japanese regulationsD.A.D LUG POWER MUFFLERS are manufactured by safety standards set by the Road Trucking Vehicle Act. Vehicles conforming to these safety standards will have a Certificate of Conformity and a Conformity Plate on the muffler itself. |

New Regulations for Acceleration NoiseIn April of 2010, "New Regulations for Emitted Noise of Rear Muffler Silencers" were enforced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. As of April 1, 2010, newly registered vehicles must receive pre-certification of acceleration exhaust noise test, and receive a "Performance Validation Mark" on the muffler. Without this certification, the vehicle cannot pass the safety standards or the Japanese vehicle test. Select models of the D.A.D LUG POWER MUFFLER have received pre-certification of acceleration exhaust noise test, so you can use these products with confidence. |
2010 New Regulations for Acceleration Noise (Pre-certification system)■Following the revised safety standard, newly registered vehicles after April 1, 2010 must receive Pre-certification of Acceleration Exhaust Noise Test, and receive a "Performance Validation Mark" on the muffler. Without this certification, the vehicle cannot pass the safety standards or the Japanese vehicle test.
■The following vehicles have received the Pre-certification of Acceleration Exhaust Noise Test. Even vehicles newly registered after April 1, 2010 require the vehicle test.

* Modifications to the center pipe are necessary for installation.
* This product will pass the vehicle inspection when used with the D.A.D LUG POWER MUFFLER. When attached to a stock rear muffler, the vehicle will not pass the car inspection because exhaust sound will exceed the safety standard.
